Boyle's Law:
Boyle’s Law states that the absolute pressure and volume of a given mass of confined gas are inversely proportional, provided the temperature remains the same in a closed system (formula shown below).
Pressure in a closed container changes if: 1) temperature changes 2) number of molecules increase/decrease 3) volume changes To sum it all up, the more pressure there is, the less volume there will be (if its at a unchanging temperature). |
